Request for Bids Hazel Prairie Road Project

The Town of Highland will receive sealed bids until Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.   Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time (at the Highland Town Hall – 9360 S County Road S).  Bids should be submitted to the Town Clerk, Town of Highland, PO Box 22, Lake Nebagamon, WI  54849.  Please write “Bid enclosed – Hazel Prairie Project” on the envelope.

The Project location is Hazel Prairie Road from Oakdale Road and proceeding west to the intersection of Kelly Road.   Total length of project roadway is approximately 1 mile.  The project includes pulverizing the existing pavement and placing 4” of compacted gravel.  The completed road width will be 24 feet (which includes 2 foot shoulders).  Work needs to be completed by June 30, 2026. This project needs to meet the Trans 204 Standards.  This is an LRIP Project.

The Town of Highland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities in bidding, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Town.
